Tourism Development Master Plan for TRNC to Be Announced by 2034

As part of the preparation for the Tourism Development Master Plan for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), which will cover the years 2025–2034, public meetings are set to take place across various regions of the island from November 19 to 22, 2024. These gatherings aim to foster the local tourism potential, with experts assessing sustainable tourism activities and sharing details about the upcoming plan.

The meetings will feature representatives from the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment, alongside professionals who developed the master plan. They will present alternative tourism strategies and sustainable development approaches that emphasize the country’s rich natural, cultural, and economic resources.

Local municipalities, district leaders, and non-governmental organizations will also participate, ensuring that tourism projects are integrated into short, medium, and long-term plans by incorporating local feedback and suggestions.
