Clear and partly cloudy weather forecast in Northern Cyprus, 35–38°C (Aug 30 – Sep 5)
According to the Department of Meteorology, from August 30 to September 5, Northern Cyprus will experience mostly clear and partly cloudy weather; the report was published on August 29. During the day, maximum temperatures in central regions are expected to range between 35–38°C, and 31–34°C along the coast.
Meteorologists note that the region will be under the influence of low pressure and a warm, relatively humid air mass. On Sunday morning, fog may occur in some areas; on other days, the weather will remain clear with few clouds. Winds will blow mainly from the south and west: gusty at first, later calming to moderate strength.
For residents and visitors, this means the need to take precautions: avoid prolonged sun exposure during peak heat hours, drink water regularly, protect children and the elderly, and use sunscreen. Boat owners and swimmers are advised to take into account stronger winds and possible waves, while drivers should be cautious in morning fog, reducing speed and using headlights.
