Efforts to fix the malfunction at the Teknecik Elektrik station, which caused power outages across the country, are ongoing in the TRNC. Yesterday, specialists from Turkey brought Generator No. 8, which had been out of operation for an extended period, back online.
Previously, to prevent frequent power outages on the island, teams from the Turkish Electricity Generation Corporation (EUAŞ) were sent to the station.
Additionally, the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Nicosia announced a decision to send another 25 MW installation from EUAŞ to the TRNC, which will work in tandem with Generator No. 8.
