German businessmen urged to invest in TRNC
During a working trip to Germany, TRNC President Ersin Tatar visited the building of the Independent Association of Industrialists and Businessmen (MÜSİAD) in Berlin. The head of Northern Cyprus called on German businessmen to invest in the TRNC.
At a breakfast organized in honor of the country's president, Minister of Tourism and Culture, Youth, and the Environment, Fikri Ataoglu, was also present.
According to the information provided by the Presidium, in his speech, Ersin Tatar stated that the world must now see the realities of Cyprus and emphasized that outdated, unfair embargoes, and isolation must be lifted as soon as possible.
The head of Northern Cyprus also added that an agreement in Cyprus is possible only on the basis of two equal sovereign states.
According to Ersin Tatar, the TRNC continues to develop in the fields of tourism, higher education, agriculture, and construction, and he called on entrepreneurs living in Germany to invest in the country.
Vice-President of MUSIAD Berlin, Ali Ilhan, thanked Ersin Tatar for his visit and emphasized the importance of his work on the Cyprus issue.
It is worth noting that earlier, the head of Northern Cyprus presented the potential of the TRNC at the country's booth at the largest international tourism fair ITB in Berlin.
