New digital doctor's appointment system launched in TRNC

The TRNC Ministry of Health has announced the launch of a new digital appointment system for state hospitals — Hastane Randevu Sistemi (HRS) — starting March 2.
The Ministry emphasizes that this is not just a technical update, but a structural reform aimed at increasing the accessibility of medical services and convenience for patients. Until the beginning of March, the previous appointment procedure will be in effect to avoid disruptions during the transition to the new system.
How HRS will work
- It will be possible to make an appointment with a doctor by phone and online.
- Online booking will be available 24/7.
- An account on the TRNC e-government portal (e-Devlet) will be required to log in.
The password for e-Devlet can be obtained from the district administrations (kaymakamliks). After that, patients will be able to access the system via mobile applications or the website edevlet.gov.ct.tr and book an appointment online.
Important to know:
- Short-term technical interruptions are possible during the launch period.
- At the moment, e-Devlet passwords are only issued to TRNC citizens.
- A separate access mechanism is being developed for foreigners.
Authorities assure that technical and administrative teams are working to ensure that the transition to the new system is as smooth as possible.
