A survey by the Center for Migration, Identity and Rights Studies (CMIRS), published in August 2025, shows that Tufan Erhürman leads the preference rating for the presidential elections with 47.60%. The incumbent president Ersin Tatar ranks second with 43.00%.
CMIRS, which conducts quarterly surveys, also recorded the following results: Mehmet Hasgüler — 0.80%, Osman Zorba — 0.60%, Arif Salih Kırdağ — 0.20%. At the same time, 4.00% of respondents said they were undecided, and 3.80% said they would not vote.
In response to the publication of the poll, Minister of Construction and Transport Erhan Arıklı expressed objections on social media. In his post, he shared an anecdote and suggested that the results were influenced by the European Union and the United States.
The published data reflects the distribution of current voter preferences at the time of the survey. CMIRS emphasizes that the research shows the positions of respondents in August 2025 and is not a forecast of the final election outcome.
