Poll: the overwhelming majority of Turkish Cypriots are concerned about the level of corruption

According to the survey results, 94.58% of Turkish Cypriots consider corruption in the country to be a serious problem. The research data show that the issue of corruption remains one of the most acute and generates persistent distrust toward state institutions.
The majority of respondents stated that they perceive corruption as a systemic phenomenon that directly affects quality of life, the economy, and justice in society. Only a small proportion of respondents noted that they do not consider the situation critical.
Analysts emphasize that such a high level of concern indicates a growing public demand for transparency, accountability of authorities, and real measures to combat corrupt practices.
The survey results have already sparked discussion in the socio-political sphere and may influence the agenda of future reforms and public debates.
