TRNC Police to Host Third Annual Community Run

The third Police-Community Fun Run will take place in Nicosia on June 1, inviting both police officers and members of the public to hit the track together in a spirit of unity and healthy competition.

Organized annually in celebration of the 61st anniversary of the founding of the TRNC Police Organization, the event offers two distance options: 6 km and 12 km. The run kicks off at 7:00 AM on Sunday, June 1, 2025, starting from the ceremonial entrance of the Police Headquarters in Nicosia. The awards ceremony will be held at the same location at 9:00 AM.

Participation is completely free, and all runners will receive a commemorative medal. Additional medals and trophies will be awarded to the top finishers in the overall ranking.

Race bibs will be distributed on the morning of the event, between 6:00 and 6:45 AM, at the registration stand near the ceremonial entrance.
