AFTER HEAVY RAINS, WATER CHANNELS CLEANED: BLOCKAGES REMOVED AND WATER FLOW RESTORED

Following heavy rainfall, the Ministry reported ongoing work to clean the water channels.
According to the department, silt, branches, dirt, and various debris had accumulated in the channels and regulators due to the heavy rain, which could have caused blockages and disrupted the water flow. Cleaning work was initiated, especially in areas with regulators and siphon sections of the channels. Specialists have already removed the accumulated debris and restored the natural and uninterrupted flow of water.
The statement also noted that the Water Resources Department will continue regular inspections of channels and regulators to timely identify potential risks and take necessary measures promptly.
