“Winter Mornings” Project Concludes: Iftar Table to Open in Lefkoşa

The "Kış Sabahları Isınıyor" (Winter Mornings are Warming Up) project, implemented by the Turkish Cypriot Red Crescent in Kuğulu Park, Lefkoşa, will conclude on February 18. Starting February 19, the initiative will be replaced by the "Kızılay İftar Sofrası" charity program, which will take place at the Lefkoşa Terminal Center throughout the entire month of Ramadan.
According to the organization, the mobile catering point operated on weekdays from 06:30 to 08:30 for two months. Red Crescent volunteers and representatives of the Youth Red Crescent provided hot breakfasts to students, workers, entrepreneurs, and retirees.
During the project's implementation, approximately 13,000 people received hot soup, bread, tea, and pastries.
In anticipation of Ramadan, the organization is already finalizing preparations for hosting Iftars. From February 19, the "Red Crescent Iftar Table" will be set up daily at the Lefkoşa Terminal Center, where anyone interested can receive a hot dinner after sunset.
