Dusty Weather to Continue in Northern Cyprus Until Monday
The dust warning in Northern Cyprus has been extended for the entire weekend. According to the Meteorological Department, dust from North Africa will remain in the air until at least midday on March 17.
“The dust is expected to cause air pollution. Citizens who are sensitive to dust are advised to take precautions,” the weather service stated.
This dust warning has been in effect since March 4 and has been extended multiple times. This is the second dust pollution event of 2025, with the first one recorded in January.
