Decayed Tree Falls and Crushes Cars in Girne

In Girne, a decayed tree collapsed onto cars parked on private property, causing significant damage to the vehicles.

Municipal service teams quickly responded to the incident, arriving on the scene to remove the fallen tree.

The mayor of Girne, Murat Şenkul, shared details about the event on his social media page. He expressed gratitude to the municipal workers and highlighted their commitment to addressing the situation, even though it was outside their usual responsibilities.

“We could have easily claimed that this job was not within our duties and opted to take a day off on Sunday. However, our municipal workers truly love their country and city,” the mayor wrote.
