As of January 1, 2026, the use of next-generation cash registers will become mandatory

Starting January 1, 2026, the use of next-generation cash registers will be mandatory.
The Revenue and Tax Department of the Ministry of Finance announced:
"The use of next-generation cash registers will become mandatory from January 1, 2026."
"According to the VAT law published in the Official Gazette on January 12, 2023, the use of old-generation cash registers will end on January 1, 2026.
According to the new VAT regulations, all taxpayers are required to use next-generation cash registers from January 1, 2026, as the use of old-generation cash registers will be discontinued," representatives of the Tax Department stated.
