Social Services in the TRNC to Stage Warning Strike Tomorrow
All departments within the Social Services Directorate in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) will hold a two-hour warning strike tomorrow, as announced today by the Cyprus Turkish Public Servants' Union (KTAMS).
The strike will take place on Wednesday, May 21, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. According to KTAMS, the protest is being organized in response to ongoing problems within the department that have not been addressed, despite repeated warnings and formal complaints from staff.
The union stated that the aim of the strike is to raise public awareness about the longstanding issues facing the department. As part of the action, a press statement will be delivered at 11:00 AM in front of the Social Services Directorate in Nicosia.
