The Air Temperature Will Rise to 20°C: Weather Forecast for Northern Cyprus on January 17
The TRNC Meteorology Department reports that high atmospheric pressure and cold, moist air will prevail in Northern Cyprus on Friday, January 17. Clear skies and dry weather are expected throughout the day.
Temperatures are set to climb 2–4°C above the seasonal average, ranging between 15°C and 20°C in most regions.
Winds will blow from the northeast at moderate speeds, occasionally picking up strength with strong gusts. No weather warnings have been issued for Northern Cyprus today.

- Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 20°C, Lapta – 19°C, Akdeniz – 19°C, Alevkaya – 14°C, Esentepe – 17°C
- Western Coast: Lefke – 18°C, Güzelyurt – 20°C
- Central Region: Lefkoşa – 18°C, Ercan – 20°C
- Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 20°C, İskele – 18°C
- Karpas Peninsula: Yeni Erenköy – 19°C
