Temperatures Return to Normal: TRNC Weather Forecast for May 28
According to the Meteorology Department of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), low atmospheric pressure and warm, humid air are expected across the region on Wednesday, May 28.
Forecasters are predicting clear skies with no chance of rain. Air temperatures have returned to seasonal averages.
Across most of Northern Cyprus, temperatures will range between 25°C and 31°C. No storms are expected in the area.
Winds will blow from the southwest at a moderate strength, occasionally gusting to strong levels. Three weather alerts remain in place.
There is a high risk of wildfires due to dry conditions. Ultraviolet (UV) radiation levels are also high, so it’s recommended to avoid direct sun exposure for more than 15 minutes. Additionally, African dust remains present in the atmosphere, which may affect air quality.
