Fake official arrested in Famagusta for promising Cypriot citizenship

In Famagusta, 55-year-old A.T. posed as an official from Southern Cyprus and promised a man and his family to “arrange citizenship” and “deliver a car from the south.” Using these false promises, he obtained $5,000 and convinced the victim to transfer ownership of his car to him.
After a complaint was filed, the police conducted an investigation, located A.T., and arrested him.
