Charity walk held in Gönyeli as part of GABFest 2026
A charity walk was held at the Gönyeli Dam as part of the GABFest 2026 festival.
According to Hüseyin Amcaoğlu, the Mayor of Gönyeli — Alayköy Municipality, the event brought together a large number of participants and became a symbol of solidarity and support.
According to him, every step taken during the walk was aimed at helping the Kemal Saraçoğlu Foundation, which supports children with leukemia and fights cancer.
From early morning, residents and guests of the city arrived at the venue, taking part in the walk and supporting the charitable initiative.
The Mayor thanked all participants and partners of the event, including Turkcell Northern Cyprus, the Kemal Saraçoğlu Foundation, Radio Juke, as well as the organizing teams and volunteers.
According to Amcaoğlu, the event demonstrated that joint initiatives and mutual support help strengthen society and create an atmosphere of unity.
