An employee in Gönyeli was suspected of stealing e-cigarette tobacco and was brutally beaten

In Gönyeli, a 31-year-old store employee is suspected of stealing a large batch of e-cigarette tobacco, after which he was brutally beaten by three men.
According to the police, in one of the markets selling alcohol, the employee M.K. (31) received 230 cartons of e-cigarette tobacco for delivery to another establishment, but the goods never reached their destination. Police state that the man appropriated the products and did not deliver them to the designated employer.
Later, at around 21:00 in Girne, three men — M.M.Y. (19), M.Y. (24) and İ.G. As a result of the attack, the victim suffered a broken nasal bone and a fractured index finger on his right hand.
All three suspects in the assault case, as well as the suspect in the theft case, have been detained; the investigation continues.
