TAZI electric bike rental service to be introduced in Girne

Girne is preparing for the launch of a new urban transport service — the TAZI electric bike rental application. The project presentation will take place this Sunday on the Kordonboyu seafront.

As reported by the Girne Municipality, the promotional event will be held at Atatürk Bust Square and will start at 16:00. Residents and visitors will be able to familiarize themselves with the system and test the e-bikes free of charge.

The organizers note that the project aims to develop alternative and eco-friendly transport in the city, as well as to reduce traffic congestion, especially during the tourist season.

To participate, visitors need to download the TAZI app and register via their mobile phone. During the day, an entertainment program, DJ performances, refreshments, and various surprises are prepared for the guests.

Girne Municipality emphasizes that the launch of the service is part of a broader strategy to implement modern and sustainable transport solutions in the city. The e-bike system is expected to become a convenient alternative for short trips for both locals and tourists.
