In Lefkosa, a man with a knife threatened a pen owner and released a tied dog
The incident occurred on the evening of January 17 at around 22:00 in the village of Serhatköy. According to police, a 54-year-old man cut the collar of a dog that was tied near a locked pen and deliberately released the animal.
When the pen owner noticed what was happening and tried to stop the suspect, the man reportedly pulled out a knife and began threatening him, after which he fled the scene.
During the investigation, the suspect was arrested. A breathalyzer test showed that the man was heavily intoxicated — 154 mg of alcohol.
The investigation continues.
