In the Iskele Police Department, the Department of Environmental Protection and Health has been established

As part of the Municipal Police Department, the Department of Environmental Protection and Health has been established in the municipality of Iskele. Jamal Kurteli has been appointed as the head of the new division.

The Department of Environmental Protection and Health was created within the Municipal Police Department under the directive of Mayor Hasan Sadykoglu of Iskele. Its main task is to monitor compliance with laws and regulations by enterprises in Iskele and in the 21 villages in the district.

The department will conduct environmental inspections, monitor the condition of sewage facilities in both under-construction and existing establishments, such as hotels and large enterprises.

It is noted that the conducted studies encourage businesses to reuse purified water and prevent the discharge of treated water into the sea.

In addition, during sanitary inspections, the team checks compliance with basic hygiene rules at enterprises, as well as the expiration dates and conditions for storing food products.
