Exhaust emissions checks continue in the country
Over the past week, specialists carried out measurements on 110 vehicles, of which 23 did not meet the standards set out in the Regulation on the Control of Exhaust Emissions from Motor Vehicles. Offenders were instructed to undergo maintenance and a re-inspection, as they violated Article 28(3) of the Environmental Protection Law No. 18/2012.
The department emphasizes that regular inspections will continue, as emissions control is an important element in combating air pollution from road transport.
