Amendment to Work Permit Legislation for Foreigners Published in the TRNC
An amendment to the work permit legislation for foreigners has been published in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). The new document aims to tighten controls over employers and implement stronger measures to combat illegal employment.
According to the amendment, which was published in the Official Gazette, the Ministry of Labour has been granted the authority to enter into agreements with professional organizations to improve internal monitoring and enforcement.

- Increase in the number of government employees responsible for issuing work permits.
