International literary festival to be held in TRNC
From May 4 to 8, the Fourth Lefkara Literary Festival will take place, bringing together writers, poets, artists, and researchers from across the region.
The event is held with the support of the Yunus Emre Institute under the auspices of the Turkish Embassy in Nicosia, as well as with the participation of several educational and cultural organizations, including universities and foundations.
The festival opening will take place on May 4 at 17:00 in the Presidential White Hall. The program includes speeches and special events featuring prominent representatives of literature and culture.
Over the five days, guests can expect a rich program: lectures, creative meetings, and workshops for schoolchildren, students, and the general public. The organizers emphasize that the main goal of the festival is to showcase the multifaceted nature of literature and its impact on society.
Special attention will be paid to live communication between participants, authors, and artists. According to the organizers' vision, this will allow attendees not only to become acquainted with modern literary processes but also to feel the unifying and inspiring power of creativity.
The festival, organized by Lefkara Magazine, has already become a notable cultural event on the island, attracting participants from various countries and strengthening its status as an important center of cultural life in Cyprus.
