Authorities have announced the results of financial support programs implemented within the framework of cooperation between Turkey and the TRNC. Funding is provided through the Development and Economic Cooperation Office at the Turkish Embassy in Nicosia in accordance with an intergovernmental agreement.

The total budget for the programs amounted to 110 million Turkish Liras. During the selection process, applications in the fields of agriculture and rural development, tourism, and industry were reviewed. Following the evaluation, the projects that will receive financial support have been determined.

As reported by the Turkish Cypriot Investment Development Agency (YAGA), the key goal of the initiatives is to increase economic competitiveness, improve the quality of tourism services, and introduce modern technologies into the agricultural and livestock sectors.

It is noted that the programs are aimed at the long-term development of key industries, stimulating investment, and strengthening the production potential of the region. Detailed information about the supported projects has been published on the official website of the relevant department.

It is also reported that a new round of applications is planned for the coming months. This will allow for an expansion of the circle of program participants and provide additional opportunities for businesses and farmers.

Experts note that such initiatives play an important role in modernizing the economy and supporting sustainable growth, especially in the face of regional and global economic challenges.
