Turkish Vice President to Inspect Northern Cyprus Projects
Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz is scheduled to visit the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on September 6-7 for an inspection. During his visit, he will review the progress of various projects in Northern Cyprus.
Yılmaz announced his upcoming visit during a live broadcast on TRT News.
The Vice President emphasized that the Turkish government continues to support the Turkish Cypriots across all sectors and that this support will persist.
He also expressed his belief that the TRNC will soon achieve a different status on the international stage.
“The atmosphere of peace and trust that has been maintained for 50 years has brought Turkish Cypriots to a significantly different place, though there is still a long journey ahead. During my visit to the TRNC on September 6-7, I will have the chance to see some ongoing projects on the island and meet with various stakeholders,” said the Vice President.
Yılmaz last visited Northern Cyprus at the end of May. Additionally, in early August, he made a statement about the ongoing construction of the parliament and presidential buildings in Metehan.
