Man Seriously Injured in Fire at Boltaşlı Home
A major fire broke out in the village of Boltaşlı in Northern Cyprus last night, leaving a man seriously injured and now in intensive care.
According to the police press office, the fire erupted in a residential house around 3 a.m. Firefighters quickly responded and managed to extinguish the blaze. However, the house and all belongings inside were completely destroyed.
The resident, Nihat İlhan, suffered severe burns and smoke inhalation. He was initially taken to the State Hospital in Lefkoşa but was later transferred to the British Kolan Hospital due to the severity of his condition, where he is currently in intensive care.
Fire investigators are working to determine the cause of the blaze. The investigation is ongoing.
