During School Holidays in the TRNC, Children Can Visit Museums for Free
Children in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) will have the opportunity to visit museums and historical sites free of charge during the upcoming school holidays. This announcement was made by Fikri Ataoğlu, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment.
According to the minister, all museums and historical sites across the country will be open to families free of charge. This initiative aims to give children and young people an engaging and educational way to spend their holidays.
"We are committed to ensuring that tourism and culture are accessible to everyone. We want our children and families to enjoy the holidays in a meaningful and culturally enriching way. That’s why we are offering free entry to museums and historical sites managed by our Department of Antiquities and Museums during the semester break," the Ministry said in a statement.
Families who wish to explore the historical and cultural treasures of the TRNC during the holidays can refer to the list of participating locations provided by the Department of Antiquities and Museums.
