Water in Nicosia Turns Out to Be Clean
The Turkish Municipality of Nicosia (LTB) has published the results of tests conducted on drinking and utility water, all of which indicate normal levels.
According to the municipality's statement, the results of the tests on drinking and utility water, which are regularly conducted for public health purposes, have shown that the water is clean.
Samples were collected by the Public Health Department and LTB inspection in April from 16 different districts of the capital. These samples were analyzed at the State Laboratory of the Ministry of Health for various bacteria, including coliform and enterococcus.
As a result of the analysis, no exceedances of permissible levels were found in drinking and utility water within the boundaries of LTB.
