About Near East University
Near East University is a private university located in Northern Cyprus. It was founded in 1988 in Northern Nicosia by Turkish Cypriot businessman Suat Günsel.
Starting with two faculties, Near East University now consists of 19 faculties with 98 departments, 4 vocational schools, 2 secondary schools, and 4 graduate schools, offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Near East University Campus
The campus houses all university facilities and institutions, as well as Near East College, Near East Primary School, and Near East Kindergarten.
Located a few kilometers from Nicosia, the campus is accessed via Near East Boulevard. Transportation between the campus and the city is provided by frequently running shuttle buses.
The campus features the Atatürk Culture and Congress Center, the largest hall in Northern Nicosia, accommodating 700 people with a stage area of 163.85 sq. m. It hosts various congresses, concerts, dance shows, and cultural events, such as the annual International Cyprus Theatre Festival. The center also includes four smaller halls.
Additionally, the campus contains three amphitheaters, a quartet of amphitheaters in the Grand Library, and three museums: the Communication Museum, the Art Museum, and the Classic and Sports Car Museum.
International Partnerships of Near East University
The university has partnerships with over 100 universities worldwide across Africa, Australia, Asia, Europe, and North and South America.
These include Cardiff University, Istanbul Technical University, the Institute of Physics in Belgrade, Victoria University in Melbourne, Varna Technical University, the University of London, the University of Southern Denmark, the Vienna Veterinary University, the Polytechnic University of Valencia, and many others.

Dormitories of Near East University
The dormitories are located on campus, helping students quickly adapt and ensuring easy access to academic facilities, as well as to all social and sports amenities.
The campus includes 7 dormitories for female students and 6 for male students, offering single, double, triple, and quadruple rooms across 13 blocks, apartments, and residences. Each dormitory accommodates 250–300 students, with a total capacity of 5,500.
