The smart way to extend your 30-day tourist visa

There is a claim that individuals can extend a short tourist visa without visiting the Ministry of the Interior. You should go to Lefkosa and walk along the pedestrian checkpoint on the border with the south. You can exit through this checkpoint, but if you do not have a Schengen visa or documents allowing you to enter the EU, you should walk through the buffer zone and return through the entry checkpoint to Nоrthern Cyprus.  Allegedly, this process leads to an extension of your stay for another 30 days or even 60.
