On April 11th, increased cloudiness and rain with hail are expected in Cyprus after noon

According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Thursday, April 11th, the region will be influenced by weak low pressure.

Today, in the first half after the dispersal of fog and increased low clouds, periodic local cloudiness will be observed.

During midday and after lunch, clouds will bring isolated showers and thunderstorms, especially in the mountains, south, east, and in the inland areas of the country. Hail is also possible during thunderstorms.

According to the meteorological forecast, the air temperature will rise to 26°C inland, up to 24°C on the coast, and up to 17°C in mountainous areas during the day.

By evening, increased low cloudiness is expected, and in the evening and morning hours, especially in the inland and eastern regions, the formation of light haze or fog is possible.

The air temperature will drop to about 12°C in inland areas, to 14 degrees in the southeast and on the eastern coast, to 13°C on other coasts, and to 8°C in mountainous areas.

It is expected that by the end of the week, the temperature will gradually increase slightly, continuing to fluctuate above average climatic values.
