August 15 in Cyprus: Heat up to 40°C with Rain in the Mountains
According to the Cyprus Meteorological Department, on Thursday, August 15, the region will continue to be influenced by seasonal low pressure and warm air masses.
In the first half of the day, the weather will be mostly clear, but towards the evening, increased cloudiness and rain are expected in the mountains.
According to the meteorological service forecast, during the day, the air temperature will rise to 40°C in the inland areas, 35°C on the southern, eastern, and northern coasts, around 33°C on the western coast, and up to 30°C in the mountainous areas.
By evening, the weather will remain mostly clear, although temporarily increased low cloudiness is expected in the west, and locally formed fog and low cloudiness in the southeast during the morning hours.
The air temperature will drop to 23°C in the inland areas, 24°C on the coast, and 21°C in the mountainous regions.
The weather is expected to remain mostly sunny in the coming days.
On Friday, the air temperature will rise slightly and will not change significantly until Sunday, remaining above average climatic values.
