Clear and Hot Weather Expected in Cyprus on August 2, with High Cloud Cover in the Mountains

According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Friday, August 2, the region will be influenced by seasonal low pressure.

In the morning, the weather will be mostly clear; however, in the afternoon, cloud cover will increase, especially in the mountains.

The meteorological service forecasts that during the day, the air temperature will rise to 39°C in the interior regions, to 36°C on the southern and eastern coasts, around 33°C on the northern coast, up to 31°C on the western coast, and up to 29°C in the mountainous regions.

By evening and night, the weather will remain mostly clear, but low cloud cover will increase in some areas, particularly in the west. The sea will be somewhat unsettled.

The air temperature will drop to 24°C in the interior regions and on the coasts, and to 20°C in the mountainous regions.

Over the weekend, the weather is expected to be mostly clear, but cloud cover will increase in some areas in the afternoon.

The air temperature will remain at levels slightly above the average climatic indicators.
