Major donation for construction of center for children with autism in Limassol

The ENA Foundation has announced a major donation for the construction of the "ENA for Children" Employment and Education Center in the Parekklisia area of the Limassol district. The new multifunctional center will be dedicated to supporting children with autism and their families in Cyprus.

The announcement was made on April 2, 2026 — World Autism Awareness Day — during a special event in Limassol. The event also featured the official presentation of the ENA Foundation, founded by entrepreneur Tasos Papanastasiou. The meeting was attended by representatives of the state, business, media, and public organizations.

A key moment of the evening was the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the chairman of the ENA Foundation, Panikos Symeou, and the chairwoman of the Pancyprian Association for People with Autism, Tasoula Georgiadou. The agreement outlines the joint implementation of the project to create a modern support infrastructure for children with autism.

The "ENA for Children" center will be built on a 2,872 sq. m. plot. The complex plans to include 11 classrooms, 7 therapy rooms, a swimming pool, and three outdoor play areas divided by age group. The facility will be able to accommodate approximately 70 children — from infancy to 18 years old.

The center will provide various types of therapy and educational programs, including occupational therapy, sensory integration, speech therapy, music therapy, special education, and hydrotherapy.

The ENA Foundation will fully undertake the design, permitting, and construction of the center, with no financial burden on the Pancyprian Association for People with Autism. Architectural plans have already been prepared, and the completion of the project and the center's launch are planned for January 2028.
