The “Little Heroes” Foundation Demands Health Ministry Intervention Over Conditions in the Pediatric Oncology Department

The ΜΙΚΡΟΙ ΗΡΩΕΣ Foundation has sent an official letter to the Ministry of Health of Cyprus, expressing serious concern from parents of children undergoing treatment in the pediatric oncology department of Makarios Hospital.
According to the foundation, ongoing construction work on the hospital premises is causing constant noise and discomfort and has already led to water leaks in the doctors’ room and in the kitchen area.
Despite previous assurances from the ministry that there were no grounds for concern, parents insist that the current conditions raise serious questions regarding safety, compliance with sanitary standards, and the overall protection of children receiving treatment.
The foundation calls on the competent authorities to urgently assess the situation and take measures to eliminate the identified problems.
