The man believed to be the main figure in the viral video involving a courier in Limassol has voluntarily turned himself in at a police station. He returned the navigation tablet he had taken from the food delivery worker. The case is now set to proceed to court.

What Happened?

The incident unfolded on Tuesday evening, around 7:00 PM. A 19-year-old courier, reportedly of foreign origin, was riding his bicycle in Limassol when he collided with a car in front of him.

The car’s driver approached the courier, shouting angrily and demanding immediate compensation of €400. He then grabbed the courier’s navigation tablet and struck him in the face with it. Disturbingly, none of the bystanders stepped in to help or stop the confrontation.

The situation eventually calmed down when another foreign courier stopped nearby and threatened to call the police. At that point, the aggressive driver got back into his car and drove off, taking the tablet with him.

Video Sparks Outrage

A video of the incident was uploaded online and quickly went viral, drawing widespread public attention and criticism.

Later that evening, the 19-year-old courier filed a report at Limassol’s central police station. Fortunately, he stated that he had not been physically injured during the attack.
