The Department of Computer Science at Ledra College in Nicosia, Cyprus, announced on November 28, 2025, the publication of Dr. Andreas Siamaros’ research in the international scientific journal World Journal of Critical Care Medicine (WJCCM).
The paper, titled “Preventing Diagnostic Errors in Intensive Care Units Using Millimeter Technology: A Transformative Approach to Patient Safety”, explores innovative approaches to managing critically ill patients. The study focuses on accelerating diagnosis and treatment, improving quality of care, and rapid transmission of large-scale data.
The research describes the application of millimeter technology to reduce diagnostic errors in intensive care units and highlights the potential integration of the collected data into clinical decision-making processes. The publication emphasizes the role of technology in optimizing clinical practice and enhancing patient safety.
“Science is a tool for better health, a better society, and a future with greater safety and quality of life. This study is a small but important contribution from Cyprus to the international community,” said researcher Dr. Andreas Siamaros.
