The Famagusta Medical Center has been closed due to a roof collapse. The building has been shut down for renovations and repair work.
According to the Organization of State Health Services (OKYPY), during this closure, patients of the Famagusta Medical Center will be treated by doctors and staff at Famagusta General Hospital.
For detailed information and directions to the temporary clinics, individuals can inquire at the registration desk of Famagusta General Hospital.
"For further information and appointments, please call 23 200 121 between 07:30 and 15:00," stated OKYPY in their announcement.
It was reported that on Tuesday, June 11, part of the suspended ceiling collapsed at the Famagusta Medical Center located in Paralimni, injuring a woman who suffered a head injury. The injured woman was taken to the emergency department of Famagusta Hospital.
OKYPY confirmed that the medical center will not resume operations until it has been inspected by the relevant authorities.
Engineers and personnel from OKYPY are investigating the ceiling collapse incident.
