On Cyprus, February 29th maintains clear and sunny weather

According to the Cyprus Meteorology Department, on Thursday, February 29th, the region is influenced by weak high pressure. Thin dust will occasionally be observed in the atmosphere, the concentration of which may temporarily increase from Friday evening.

Today, in the first half of the day, the weather will be mostly clear. The wind will predominantly blow from the northeast to the southeast, ranging from weak to moderate.

According to the meteorological forecast, the daytime air temperature today will reach up to 22°C in the inland and coastal areas, and up to 13°C in the mountainous areas. By evening, the weather will also be mostly clear.

The air temperature will drop to around 9°C in the inland and coastal areas, and to 5°C in the mountainous areas.

It is expected that until Saturday, the temperature will not change significantly and will remain significantly higher than the average climatic values, while on Sunday it will slightly decrease.
