GSP Stadium will start charging for parking
From early next year, people parking at GSP Stadium will have to pay a daily or monthly fee. It is planned to install barriers in the parking lots of a sports facility in Nicosia.
According to local media reports, a small fee will be charged on weekdays to all motorists except those using Cyprus Public Transport's Pame Express parking service.
Project manager for the development of public transport in Cyprus, Alexander Kamberos, assured that drivers using the Pame Express parking service will not suffer, since the company will reimburse all costs.
According to the official, the idea is to issue passes that will be given to people using the parking lot so that they can activate the barriers and continue to park for free. Others parking on GSP premises will have to pay a fee.
According to GSP CEO Foivos Constantinides, the fee could be 1 euro per day or 10 euros per month.
On weekend match days you will not have to pay for parking if you have a ticket to the sporting event.
It is noted that according to the latest data, about 650 people use Pame Express services.
