Police step up raids nationwide: dozens of violations and arrests
Police continue large-scale preventive operations across the country, increasing patrols in urban areas and crowded places. The main objective of the raids is to prevent serious crimes, maintain public order, and enhance citizen safety.
According to law enforcement agencies, five people were detained as a result of the operations. They face charges related to burglaries, violations of migration laws, non-compliance with traffic rules, and failure to appear in court.
During overnight checks, police officers stopped and checked 349 drivers and 101 passengers. Simultaneously, 33 different establishments were inspected, resulting in ten administrative reports.
Special attention was paid to road safety. A total of 178 traffic violations were recorded, and five separate investigations were initiated. The most common violation was speeding — police registered 97 such cases.
Additionally, three vehicles were confiscated during the operations. Officers also conducted 63 tests for alcohol and narcotics. In two cases, drivers tested positive for drugs.
The police emphasized that such operations will continue daily. The department intends to maintain an increased presence on the roads and in public places, conducting targeted checks and operational measures to prevent offenses and improve the sense of security among the population.
