Colombian citizen missing after building collapse in Limassol
The family of 27-year-old Colombian citizen Leonela Aleman has appealed to Cypriot authorities and the public for help following her disappearance in Limassol. The young woman stopped communicating on April 11 — the last signal from her mobile phone was recorded in a building at 7 Aeschylus Street, which later collapsed.
Leonela worked as a content creator and arrived in Cyprus in early April. On March 31, she flew from Barranquilla to Bogota, then traveled to the island via Istanbul and settled in a building in the Germasogeia area.

After her disappearance, relatives learned that the house where she resided had collapsed. Two bodies were recovered from the rubble: one has been identified as a person named Dex, while the second remains unidentified — DNA testing is currently being conducted.
The family states that they have not yet received precise information regarding Leonela's fate. Relatives also reported that they have lost contact with her former partner.
The girl's grandmother, Asela Ayala, appealed to the public for help. Her mother, Luz Marina Morales, stated that she lacks the funds to fly to Cyprus and personally participate in the search. According to her, appeals to official authorities have not yet yielded concrete results.
