Man Wanted for Fight in Limassol Captured After 18 Months
Cypriot police have arrested a 25-year-old man who had been on the run for over a year and a half, wanted in connection with a brutal fight that occurred in Limassol.
The suspect was apprehended on Monday, May 12, 2025, after a court-issued warrant was executed. He is now in custody for a police investigation into charges of grievous bodily harm.
The violent altercation took place on October 7, 2023, in a district of Limassol. During the fight, several individuals were involved, and the victim sustained serious injuries, including a severe head trauma and a skull fracture.
Two other suspects, a 31-year-old and a 27-year-old, were previously arrested in connection with the incident and had also been on the run.
The 31-year-old was taken into custody on October 22, 2024, while the 27-year-old was arrested on November 21, 2024.
