Mass installation of smart meters begins today in many regions of Cyprus
The Cyprus Electricity Authority announces that today the mass installation of smart meters has begun in several more regions:
Nicosia:
- Aglantzia – Pallouriotissa
- West of Famagusta Avenue, Andreas Zakos and Ilarionos from Aglantzia Crafts Hill to BATA roundabout (SOPAZ area). The area between Famagusta Avenue, Andreas Zakos, Ilarionos, Kantara, Agios Andreou, Salaminos and John Kennedy. On both sides of Kantara, Agios Andreou and Pouliou Kapota streets.
- On both sides of John Kennedy Street.
Limassol:
- North of Pentadromos
- Between Makariou III, Thessalonikis, Gladstonos and Evagoras Christoforou streets.
Larnaca:
- The area between Stadiou, Agios Lazaros, Zenonos Kitieos, Grigoris Afxentiou streets and up to Akadimias traffic lights.
Famagusta:
- Paralimni: on both sides
- of 1st April Avenue from Kokkinos Supermarket to the roundabout towards Deryneia – Protaras Avenue, coastline of Cape Greco from the end of Protaras Avenue to Narcissos Hotel. Within the village on both sides of Grigoris Afxentiou Street. On both sides of Giorgi Papadopoulou Street towards Kapparis. Between Protaras Avenue and Agios Panteleimonas Street.
