Heavy rains caused flooding in Nicosia

Cyprus, especially the Nicosia area, is experiencing heavy rainfall. Due to the precipitation, water has accumulated in some road sections, complicating traffic and increasing the risk of accidents.
Police urge drivers to be extremely cautious, reduce speed, maintain distance, and keep headlights on. Citizens are also advised to check official police channels for road and weather updates before traveling.
According to eyewitness reports, cases have been recorded in Nicosia where vehicles became stranded in the middle of the road after several minutes of intense rain.
