Light Earthquake Recorded North of Cyprus
The Cyprus Geological Survey Department has confirmed a light earthquake that occurred north of the island early this morning.
The tremor was recorded at 07:33 by the department’s Seismological Service and measured 3.9 on the Richter scale. The epicenter was located about 90 kilometers north of Polis, at a depth of 55 kilometers.
There have been no reports of injuries or damage.
