Prices for sunbeds and umbrellas rental increased in Ayia Napa
An increase in beach equipment rental prices has been recorded in Ayia Napa. This was announced by the mayor and chairman of the Beach Committee, Christos Zannettos.
According to the new tariffs:
- sunbed rental is 3.50 euros;
- umbrella rental is 3.00 euros.
According to the mayor, the cost had remained unchanged for over 20 years, but following an increase in VAT, local authorities were forced to revise the rates. However, these amounts are the maximum allowed, and the municipality may set lower prices.
It is also noted that when renting equipment, vacationers receive free access to showers, toilets, and changing rooms available on most Ayia Napa beaches.
The municipality continues to modernize infrastructure: beach equipment is being updated, and old sunbeds and umbrellas are being replaced with new ones.
