Pakistani Food Delivery Driver Killed in Limassol Road Accident
A 21-year-old food delivery driver from Pakistan was killed in a fatal traffic accident in Limassol. The scene has been sealed off, and police are actively searching for witnesses.
According to the Cyprus Police press office, the crash occurred on Sunday night at around 9:25 p.m. on Spyros Kyprianou Avenue. A car driven by a 55-year-old Greek Cypriot collided with the courier’s motorcycle, which was traveling in the same direction.
The young delivery driver tragically died at the scene. The car’s driver was subjected to drug and alcohol tests, both of which returned negative results. He was later arrested under a court warrant and taken into custody to assist with the investigation.
Authorities are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the accident to come forward. Police are also reviewing CCTV footage from the surrounding area. The investigation is being led by Limassol Traffic Police.
